Raynor, a manufacturer of residential and commercial doors and operators, recently announced several staff changes including a promotion in its marketing department.
The company promoted Pete Elsenbach to director of marketing. He’ll be a member of the Raynor management team, responsible for driving all marketing functions including marketing services, product management, the Raynor Academy and the print shop. Elsenbach joined Raynor in 2009 as a product manager. His role quickly expanded and he was promoted to senior marketing manager in 2011.
"In a relatively short period of time at Raynor, Pete has made a significant positive impact on the company,” said Rick Considine, vice president of sales and marketing. “We are very fortunate to have Pete as part of the Raynor team and are looking forward to implementing more of the new programs and concepts Pete has brought to the forefront."
In addition, the company promoted Jason Taylor to associate product manager. Taylor will assist in defining the product strategy and roadmap, including new product development, pricing and product promotion. He has been with Raynor for 18 years, with six years of experience in production before moving into customer service.
“We are extremely excited to have Jason join the marketing team," Elsenbach said. “Jason is a great fit in this role based on his experience and extensive knowledge of Raynor’s product lines and dealers. He is a valuable asset, and we are pleased to have him transition into this new role.”
Raynor also hired Marvin Reyes to the product manager position. He will be responsible for developing product strategies and implementing pricing and product promotion.
Reyes comes to Raynor from Plews Edelmann, where he was a cost analyst. Prior to Plews Edelmann, he worked at Stanley National for 27 years in various positions, most recently as a product manager.
“We are thrilled to welcome Marvin to the marketing team,” Elsenbach said. “Marvin brings a wealth of knowledge to the product manager position and we are confident he will take this role to new heights.”
Founded in 1944 by Bill Norberg and Ray Neisewander, Raynor is a family-owned garage door manufacturer with home offices in Dixon, Ill.
