BD Loops Releases New Lead-in for Performed Loops

BD Loops’ new optional Cal-Trans Type-B lead-in enables door and access-control professionals to run multiple lead-ins over a long distance in a single conduit.

The company’s direct burial and saw-cut loops are now available with optional twisted and shielded lead-in. The Type-B lead-in can help prevent cross talk in installations where multiple leads will be run in the same conduit over long distances. This new lead-in is also ideal for applications where wires are required to be twisted and shielded.

Cal-Trans Type-B wire was designed with inductance loops in mind. The polyethylene outer jacket and polyethylene insulation create a durable wire, ideal for direct-burial installation. The Type-B lead-in can be attached to any size loop, and custom loops ship the same day if the order is received by 12 p.m. PST.
