The LiftMaster #1 Chevrolet, which debuted in September's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, is featured in the new NASCAR The Game: Inside Line video game. Because of LiftMaster’s partnership with Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and driver Jamie McMurray, players will now be able to select and drive McMurray’s LiftMaster #1 car on all 23 race tracks featured in the game.
“At LiftMaster, we’re thrilled that our team sponsorship has secured us this opportunity to be included in the new NASCAR video game and reach a wider and more varied audience. The racing and driving video game genre is among the most popular, and we’re so pleased to be part of this community, which consists of millions of gamers,” said Neal Villarin, sponsorship and event marketing manager for LiftMaster. “Our sponsorship of Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and Jamie McMurray has already helped to benefit our company and our valued dealers across the country, and we’re excited to now have the virtual LiftMaster car competing in homes across the world.”
NASCAR The Game: Inside Line is the second edition of the NASCAR The Game racing simulator series developed by Eutechnyx and distributed by video game marketer Activision. The new game features a more in-depth career mode that allows players to rise through the series, attract new sponsorships and upgrade the components on their racecar. The game was released globally Nov. 6 for all video game console platforms, including PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360.
