Overhead Door Introduces the Traditional Wood Collection of Garage Doors

Overhead Door Corp., a manufacturer of garage doors and openers for residential, commercial and industrial applications, is introducing a new line of customizable wood doors distributors can offer to customers who want to transform their houses into unique homes. The Traditional Wood Collection offers rail-and-stile or flush panel designs that complement many home styles, from traditional to modern.

“Homeowners are always looking for ways to improve curb appeal and make their houses stand apart,” said Product Manager Mark Gehrett. “With the Traditional Wood Collection, distributors now have more options to make that happen, from the multiple designs of our new rail-and-stile doors to the modern simplicity of our new flush panel offerings.”

The garage doors are designed to provide homeowners with the charm, richness and depth that is only possible with a wood door. Distributors can offer customers rail-and-stile doors constructed from Cedar, Hemlock and Mahogany woods in a wide range of both framed and raised-panel designs. Rail-and-style doors are also available with multiple window, glass and decorative hardware options, which will help distributors customize orders to each customer’s home.

Overhead Door new Traditional Wood Collection includes the rail-and-stile garage doors featured in this picture. Each Traditional Wood Collection rail-and-stile garage door is constructed with mortise and tenon joints that are glued, then steel-pinned for increased strength and durability. Additionally, shiplap section design provides a weather-tight fit and smooth operation.

For a contemporary or minimalist look, the Traditional Wood Collection also offers flush panel garage doors. Each flush-style door is constructed with a polystyrene insulated core that provides a 4.75 R-value, sandwiched between wood panels that are 1-3/8-inch thick and pressure-bonded to the door’s framework with high-strength, waterproof adhesive.

Designed to accentuate a home’s unique style and architecture, flush panel doors may be offered by distributors in a natural wood or primed finish. Like the rail-and-stile designs, the doors are also available with a variety of window options for further customization.

Every Traditional Wood Collection garage door is built with rust-resistant track and hardware constructed from hot-dipped galvanized steel.  Distributors can offer customers further peace of mind with a one-year limited warranty that backs all the garage doors in the collection.

The flush panel designs are part of the new Traditional Wood Collection of garage doors from Overhead Door. Traditional Wood Collection doors are sold and warranted as a system and may be ordered through a distributor’s standard ordering process. Distributors may also preview the new collection to customers by using Overhead Door’s online DoorView visualization tool.
