Advantage Gate Products of Lodi, Calif., has introduces the new X2 Vehicle Gate Operating System. Michael Siskin, director of sales for Advantage Gate Products says, “The X2 is a breakthrough in the vehicle gate operator industry.”
Siskin goes on to explain the new X2 Swing Gate Operator “is the only vehicle gate system on the market that is truly a system.” The X2 is delivered as a complete and assembled package with the gate operator, controls, hinges and hinge post assembled together as a single unit, all in a secure steel housing.
As Siskin explains, “The X2 provides advantages in both efficiency and aesthetics. The installer really appreciates the ease and efficiency of the installation, you bolt the X2 tower down, hook up the electrical, attach the gate, and you’re done. With the operator being essentially invisible, “hidden” securely within the hinge post, the customer really appreciates the clean streamlined look of the finished product. “Everyone has a different reason for specifying the X2. Advantage Gate Products recently unveiled the X2 at several different trade conventions. At the recent FenceTech show in Orlando, Fla., installers were very happy to see many familiar components within the X2. According to the Chief Designer of the X2, John Martin, “The design of the X2 has been a work in progress for the last five years. When the decision was made to build a production model X2, we knew the industry was not interested in just another new gate operator. That would mean new technology to learn, more parts to inventory, more training for their technicians, etc... We looked at many producers for our components but ultimately decided on FAAC of Italy. FAAC is the world’s largest specialized manufacturer of automated gate operating equipment. In 1965, they originated the use of hydraulic gate opening components and have since perfected the technology. FAAC had most of the components we needed and they were willing to work with us to supply the specialized products required during the design phase.
We knew from the start that when we chose to incorporate the FAAC products in our design, that the dealers/installers would be pleased with this new innovative configuration... and they were.”
Martin continues, “Unlike other gate operating products on the market, when you open the X2 you will not find any proprietary components, a real plus for the end-user and the dealer who installs it for him.”
