New Wayne-Dalton Web Site Features Enhanced Dealer Locator Tool

Wayne-Dalton announces a navigational-friendly and total new look for its company Web site, www.Wayne-Dalton.com.

With an eye-catching home page that instantly makes an impact to draw the user inside, the Web site had two distinct goals in mind:

Improved look and feel - Create an inviting and vibrant look that matches the brand image of Wayne-Dalton. This includes enhanced graphics and new page layouts to provide visitors with an improved user experience.

Improved navigation - Customer-friendly access to information by making the Web pages work in consistent ways. Whether it be product details, customer service, instruction manuals, or what to look for when shopping for a new garage door, the user will be able to zero in on what he or she needs much faster.

Reducing click-throughs necessary to get to the desired information was a huge part of the navigation improvement. For instance, by centralizing information on the Customer Service section, it is now easier for users to get to whom or what they need, thereby improving their Wayne-Dalton experience.

Additional enhancements to the Web site include:

  • An enhanced Photo Gallery has been populated with real jobs submitted by dealers and homeowners to show the many different looks that Wayne-Dalton doors can provide.
  • The Dealer Locator is broken down into Residential Garage Doors and Openers, Home Access Controls, and Fabric Shield. There also is a Dealer Locator specific to Commercial doors on the Commercial Product portion of the site. That makes it easy for users to find exactly the distributor they need for the product they need.
  • New individual listings on our Commercial Products section, including the Titan rolling steel door, Model 926 service door, and Model EES Emergency Grille. All three fulfill a unique niche in the commercial market and make it easier for architects and commercial customers to learn about and spec these products.
  • Coming soon! - The attractive, popular Garage Door Design Center, already alive and well on the new site, will soon be updated to include the recent 9800 color additions of Honduran Mahogany, Red Oak, White and Cherry Sonoma, as well as the 9700 stained colors of Honduran Mahogany and Red Oak.
  • A new section is also under development for Wayne-Dalton classic wood panel and flush doors that will offer even more choices to discriminating home owners.

Jeff Franklin, vice president, worldwide sales, marketing, distribution and new business ventures, adds, "We are very excited about this new Web site. It provides a more consumer-friendly atmosphere and upgraded graphics to help potential customers have an even better experience while exploring the advantages of a Wayne-Dalton door system, complete with Home Access and Storm Protection products."
