The Tilt’N Place Door System is an all-inclusive, pre-assembled, pre-finished, complete door/frame/hardware package which arrives on the job ready for installation. The door and frame components actually “tilt into place,” and easily attach to the wall, allowing installers to fully complete a finished door opening in 30 minutes or less. Our innovative design includes some adjustability in the jamb depth to help correct inconsistencies within the wall construction that are a constant hassle when it comes to the installation of door frames. This system provides factory quality while saving time and labor costs on door and frame installations.
The “Complete Opening in a Box” arrives at the building site with two main parts: (1) a door unit which includes a factory finished door, pre-hung in a finished welded steel frame, with the hardware already installed and; (2) a corresponding trim side of the door frame. The system can be ordered with a vast selection of custom and standard components to fulfill the specifications for design, safety and regulatory needs. Door, frame and hardware are pre-finished, assembled and packaged at Amweld’s facility and shipped directly to the building site with all fasteners needed for the install. Installation now takes place after the walls are painted and finished, significantly reducing punch list items.
“The assembly includes the choice of any quality Amweld or Firedoor branded door and Tilt’N Place frame...pre-hung, pre-finished and factory-installed with the customer’s preference of hardware,” states Dan Perry, Tilt’N Place product manager at Amweld International LLC. “Security, acoustical, stile & rail, decorative, high-traffic commercial or wood finished door options are available to meet the customer’s specifications. All components of the assembly are tested and adjusted before leaving the factory.”
