1st United Door Technologies (FUDT) will open a new distribution center in San Diego on May 18. This is the fourth regional distribution center to be opened in California. The new facility will distribute residential and commercial sectional garage doors, operators and hardware, greatly improving product availability and expediting delivery times.
Located at 8557 Production Avenue, San Diego, CA 92121, the distribution center will greatly improve logistics and service for they company's customers. An open house will be held on Friday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., to introduce garage door dealers to FUDT products, services and support programs. It will also be an opportunity to meet FUDT staff and representatives from various garage door industry vendors.
Located in the Miramar neighborhood in the northern part of the city of San Diego, the area consists of distribution, warehouse, office and Miramar Road frontage retail-related space. Miramar is a prime area due in part to its central location, size and traditional industrial characteristics. The company is pleased to invest in the San Diego community with this new facility.
