Financial Advisors Predict Recession Will End in 2 Years

An online study conducted for Charles Schwab shows that 85 percent of financial advisors believe the recession will end within the next two years, while 15 percent see it taking longer to end.

The study, which surveyed 1,240 independent advisors from Jan. 20 through Jan. 30, 2009, specifically asked advisors their opinion on when stocks will rebound. Four percent said December 2009, 18 percent said December 2010 and 32 percent said not until December 2011.
