Hormann Gadco is moving its regional distribution operations to a newer, larger and more central facility in Nashville, Tenn. This replaces the company’s current distribution operation in Bowling Green, Ky.
According to Larry Campbell, VP sales and marketing at Hörmann Gadco, “This facility will be a real boost for our customer service capabilities. It gives us more stock capacity for broader inventory and faster response times to customers. It’s also more central to the territory, and puts us in a better position as we continue to grow.”
The new distribution center is 30 percent larger than the one in Bowling Green. Multiple dock doors not only speed shipping and receiving, they also provide quick turnaround times for customer pickups.
The move will be completed by the end of June.
Hormann Gadco manufactures a full range of residential and commercial garage doors. The company is based in Montgomery, Ill., and has manufacturing facilities in Illinois, Tennessee and Pennsylvania. For more information on Hormann Gadco products, visit www.hoermann-gadco.com.
