BD Loops, a leading supplier of inductance loops, reports a 32-percent increase in business for 2007.

Owner Ted Dickson notes, “It was a year full of surprises. We moved in our new building less that two years ago with a 5-year plan to expand into the space. We now are running out of room, so we have resorted to building up by investing in custom tacks and storage systems that go as high as 17 feet. We even are replacing our solid warehouse door with a roll-up door that will allow us the space to store five more pallets.
“With the cost of copper on a roller coaster, we take advantage when the price dips. As it stands we have over a million feet of wire in stock at any given time. The introduction of our new preformed saw-cut has been slow, but it is finding its place now that we have found the proper way to market it. One person can install our preformed saw-cut loops with up to two hours saved for three loops. With the cost-per-hour of a truck, saw-cut machine, and personnel in the field, the saved time pays for the cost of the loop.
“We are starting off 2008 with a 45-percent gain over the same first four months last year.”

BD Loops has over 135 distributor locations in both the United States and Canada. For more information, visit www.bdloops.com or call 714.890.1604.
