Linear LLC has expanded its nationwide distribution network by inking a distribution agreement with Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Amarr Garage Doors. Amarr has agreed to offer Linear’s complete portfolio of entry system products through its network of 63 door centers. Starting July 2, Amarr will begin actively selling, stocking, and shipping Linear’s products. The initial showroom focus will be on Linear’s complete line of residential garage door operators; however, all of Linear’s other entry systems products — commercial door operators, gate operators, access control systems, and radio controls will also be available through Amarr. “Linear and Amarr are two of the most respected names in the garage door industry. Each company has a long history of supplying quality products,” says Larry Foisie, vice president of entry systems for Linear. “This new partnership is a natural progression — dealers will now benefit by having two proven product lines available at 63 locations across the country.”
