When Will You Feel Better About the Economy?

The Dow Jones was within reach of 10,000 this morning, the highest its been since Oct. 3, 2008. While this is certainly good news, and experts are saying the recession is technically over, many Americans are still struggling.

CNNMoney features an online poll asking readers, “When will you know when an economic recovery is underway?” The results so far are as follows:

• 4% said “When the Dow tops 10,000”

• 9% said “When the GDP turns positive”

• 70% said “When job growth resumes”

• 17% said “It’s already started”
