Chase Doors Acquires FIB-R-DOR

Chase Industries (DBA Chase Doors) announces the acquisition of FIB-R-DOR, a division of Advanced Fiberglass Inc. Located in Little Rock, Ark., FIB-R-DOR manufactures both fire-rated and non-fire-rated fiberglass doors and frames. The addition of FIB-R-DOR corrosion resistant doors to Chases’ existing line of impact traffic doors, sliding fire-rated service doors and cold storage doors will allow Chase to provide a complete package of complimentary products to contractors, distributors, dealers and end users in industrial, retail, commercial, pharmaceutical and institutional markets.

Established in 1986, FIB-R-DOR introduced themselves into the heavy corrosive environment of pulp and paper mills and have since proven themselves as a corrosion resistant door provider for general manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, waste water management plants all across the U.S. In addition to solving the problems of door corrosion in these industries, FIB-R-DOR has also saved thousands of maintenance dollars for institutions, schools and government installations.

FIB-R-DOR fiberglass doors are constructed using a variety of cores with a beautiful gel coat finish. They will never rust and carry a 20-year warranty against failure due to corrosion. All FIB-R-DOR panels incorporate a molded in gel coat finish, eliminating the need for painting. The doors are available with a 20/30/45/60 and 90 minute label and meets the UL’s "Standard for Fire Tests of Door Assemblies UL 10B."
