WAYNE-DALTON OFFERS WINDLOAD-RATED MODEL 9800

Homeowners can find inner strength and outer beauty with Wayne-Dalton’s windload-rated Model 9800 garage door. Model 9800, the industry’s first fiberglass-clad garage door, features a wood-grained fiberglass surface that conceals a durable steel inner construction.

To create the look of wood-grain, Wayne-Dalton uses Therma-Tru’s AccuGrain technology, a superior, patented graining process. Combined with high-performance garage door construction, AccuGrain produces a natural-looking wood texture, pattern and appearance. Exclusive hi-definition graining creates the warmth and beauty of real wood with amazing fidelity.

The Model 9800 windload-rated door is built with a top section roller brace to resist inward and outward force. High-grade carbon steel hinges add vertical stability and commercial grade U-bars provide horizontal stability, while heavy-duty jamb brackets secure the track to the door frame. The door meets International Building Code and is available in all states except Florida and Texas.

The Model 9800 is currently available in horizontal raised panel, vertical raised panel and horizontal v-groove designs. The door is available factory-stained in mahogany, oak, walnut, clay, gray and green. Additional door features include pinch-resistant panel joints for safety and an R-7.3 polyurethane foamed-in insulation that cuts energy costs and reduces noise. Additionally, Model 9800 is the only garage door in the industry that has a complementary Therma-Tru fiberglass entry door.
