Promote planned maintenance specials during late spring and early summer – key remodeling months for homeowners. Keep weather patterns in mind and advertise tune-up services and inspections after storms that could have damaged garage doors.

INFORM and FOLLOW UP

Send customers maintenance program information along with the customers’ product safety features, such as emergency release cords. Consider doing this as a follow-up to a sale. Provide previous service-only customers with information on the importance of updating older opener systems that may provide only minimal safety features.

Each opportunity to increase awareness of safety through maintenance is the opportunity to grow your business and strengthen your consumer relationships. The value of a mutually beneficial relationship is unsurpassed.
